Dr Peter Hines, Project Leader for Telemicroscopy Project for the NANO MNRF, based at its University of Sydney headquarters.
Brief CV:
Dr Hines is a metallurgist by training with a PhD (1994) in materials
synthesis and characterization from the University of Queensland.
Following a postdoc at the New Zealand Crown Research Institute for
Industrial Research (IRL) he developed a hypermedia learning environment
for materials engineering. This was followed by an academic appointment
at Monash University, with projects in web based learning, development
of a flexible learning studio and finally project management for the
development of a flexible Masters program in materials engineering. He
now heads the Telemicroscopy Project for the NANO MNRF and is based at
its University of Sydney headquarters.
